What is Revisionism?

Simply put, Revisionism is the belief that history is ever-changing.  History has to be malleable, open to various ideas, and interpretations.  Although some find this approach to be a pointless pursuit, we deem this essential to attaining a quality understanding of history.

An event throughout time is subject to the scrutiny of historians and their insight on the matter.  Revisionists look at past historian’s work and refine it based upon new discoveries and paradigm shifts of human perception.

At the end of the day, history is human interpretation based upon the primary writings of the author.  These authors have provided works from which historians write history.  Revisionists strive to either correct or purify the interpretation already set forth by those who came before.  We believe this is the correct way to decipher what history’s scribes intended us to find in the text.
